Jubilee 2025 Mass at St. Gregory the Great Parish
On December 24, 2024, Pope Francis launched the Jubilee Year under the theme of "Pilgrims of Hope" by opening the Holy Doors at St. Peter’s Basilica in The Vatican. On December 29, 2024, dioceses around the world celebrated their own launches of the Holy Year, including our own Archdiocese of Toronto. Worldwide, the Catholic Church will commemorate the Jubilee throughout 2025. Here in the Durham Region, St. Gregory the Great Parish in Oshawa has been designated as a holy place of worship and a pilgrimage destiation during the Jubilee Year.
Families, staff, and community members of the Durham Catholic District School Board are invited to a special Jubilee 2025 Mass, which will take place at St. Gregory the Great Parish (194 Simcoe Street N., Oshawa) on Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. Bishop Vincent Nguyen will be presiding and a reception will follow in the Parish Hall.
